Perhaps you are walking the coastal way of the Portuguese Camino Santiago de Compostela? Or you are touring in Portugal and want to visit the pure & unknown beauty of the Costa Verde? These are all good reasons for a long or shorter stay at Casa Frank e Livre!

Casa Frank e Livre is an in 2019 fully renovated farm (Quinta) in Afife, a village just above Viana do Castelo. This part of Portugal is also known as the “Costa Verde”. The casa is located close to the Atlantic Ocean. The view from the house on the ocean is stunning. On the other side of the house is a wonderful view of the North-Portugal mountains and forests. It’s also on one of the tracks of the Camino-do-Santiago hiking path.

Casa Frank e Livre is only 65 km away from Porto Airport. Afife can easily be reached by either car, train, bus, or on foot. Afife is located in the center of Costa Verde. It combines the Atlantic ocean and various beaches with the massive green inland hills. The climate can be classified as a Mediterranean climate: nice, bearable summers and mild winters. Due to Afife’s location close to the ocean, the area is well known for its specific microclimate and clean air!

The B&B has 3 two-persons bedrooms available for the guests. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom. More detailed information about the bedrooms can be found under “Accommodations”. There you can select, reserve, and book your room.

The B&B is all-year open. It has free parking spaces and is located close to restaurants and food stores.
